What’s new in the PMI(r), Project Management Certification Exam 2018

The PMBOK(r), Guide 6th Edition contains the following updates:
This edition now includes a new chapter that explains the role and competencies of project managers.
The knowledge area “Time Management”, has been renamed “Schedule Management”.
The knowledge area “Human Resource Management”, is now “Resource Management”.
The knowledge area “Perform Quality assurance” has been renamed “Manage Quality”
Each knowledge area now has four new sections to show:
Key concepts
Trends and emerging practices
Tailoring the considerations
Considerations for agile and adaptive environments
These processes have been updated. The “Close Procurements” process has been removed and three new processes added.

Use Resource Responses
This new edition includes detailed information on how to implement Agile project management strategies.
Information about the evolution of project management roles is now included in the project management and development life cycle. This information will help to improve the performance.
